Hello everyone,
I've read the new dev diaries and the part: shock/fire pips are now taken into account in the morale damage calculation raised the question: how exactly? Is this already known? From the previous versions, combat formulas were known but I haven't seen an updated morale equation yet.
Second question is more about the mechanics of pips, especially when fighting against unit types with equal amount of pips in the same category, let's say western units tech 5. 2 galloglaich units fighting each other both take 2 pips of morale damage, galloglaich fighting one of the others both take 1 pip morale damage (2-1 and 1-0), and the other 2 fighting against each other take 0 pip morale damage. Or in other words, galloglaich result in faster battles, longbow in longer ones.
Is it the right way of thinking that if I have higher morale than my enemy I want galloglaich, and if I have higher combat ability I want longbow? Since I'll be doing more damage (assuming equal total manpower and stuff)
