As Russia with 1.07, latest beta, and EEP 1.4.1, it is 1616 and I have no shields on Siberia. I've been told I should've recieved claims on Siberia in an event around 1560. No claims. I control all provinces with the Russian shield, as well as the Baltic states and the former Crimean provences.

Also, when I get revolt messages for Kola and Kexholm there are often no rebels to be seen in those provinces. More specifically rebels appeared one out of five times in Kola when I recieved it's revolt message and two out of six times in Kexholm. Is this because the numbers of rebels were decreased on the latest beta?

Minor details, still love the game. If this is the wrong place to post this stuff just let me know...

I can't really see why this would be in Paradox's bug forum. In any event, you can't get any claims on Siberia, in the EEP till 1650ish.

Claims for Sibir which isn't the same as Siberia, should come in around 1551 as long as you have the right provinces.

Oftentimes, when a revolt is set to trigger in a province with a really small population, the rebels don't even show up.

Also:

Whenever you reload a savedgame, there's a chance this event could fire, in case you're really impatient.

Did you receive the events giving you cores on the lands of Siber and the Steppes?

Looks like I need to conquer Astrakhan before it will fire. Was stupid and didn't see the shield. But I already cleared a path through Siber and started colonizing, just took on a couple BB's along the way. Thanks for the replies.:)

Rebel provinces joining my government

I was wondering if any of you out there could help explain something to me: as Russia I have had about four provinces rebel from either Lithuania or Poland & join my government. That didnt strike me as odd as the provinces were all orthodox religion & their respective overlords were catholic at the time. Recently though, approximately 1650 in the game I had 7 provinces break away from the Ottoman empire in asia minor & join my government....and all of these were muslim states. Is that unusual? Could it be because I have maxed out tolerance for that religion to prevent unrest? Better yet, is there some way to increase the liklihood of rebels joining your country? I have picked up several provinces in wars with the negative badboy & economic problems that causes.....but this way of increasing the empire is much nicer if it can be harnessed.

rebels defcting to a certain country is probably affected by culture, religion, cb shield, stability, badboy but above all pure luck.

As there is no way of putting rebels in another country it basically comes downbe patient and hope that if an other country gets hit by rebels it doesn't besiege those province. Having 11 provinces defect to you is quite a lot, never happened to me.:( ;)
