It would seem that using stuff such as is_reformed_religion and is_parent_religion, despite them comparing the religion of two characters, does not actually work to compare two religion scopes (I've had mixed results with is_heresy_of, so that might need looking at as well), which seems like an oversight following the implementation of religion scopes back in 2.7.0. I know that this isn't a bug directly related to the game in its current functionality (nothing in vanilla is broken as a result of this), but it does effectively make it impossible to do any sort of basic functionality with comparing secret religions to public religions beyond seeing if they are the same (group) or not. Given that these conditions directly compare character's religions, it seems to be a bug that they do not also work comparing religions directly, hence why I'm posting it here rather than as a suggestion.
