I encountered a problem in which Anglo-Saxon's had messed up ages, having young instead of mid/old age portraits or mid instead young age portraits. I disabled all mods and did a fresh install but the problem persisted no matter what I tried. I got so frustrated that I deleted every single CK2 file I could find on my computer hoping that a complete restart of the game would fix things however it got worse somehow. All Christians were wearing turbans and Pagans and Muslims had tonsure haircuts. This was fixed by disabling and reenabling the M&M content pack though the Anglo-Saxon age thing is still a problem. Has this happened to anyone else and if so does anyone know how to fix it?

Don't know how to fix, and it's definitely happening to me, too! The bug I'm getting is specifically that the middle-aged and young adult portraits for Anglo-Saxons are often mixed up. This is happening with both living and dead characters. I have been playing solely on both of the 1066 starts since downloading M & M, so I'm not sure if it's relating to that. My guess it's somehow related to the Norman portrait shift? Potentially?

I know it's quite frustrating; hopefully, this will be quickly fixed in the first bug fix patch post-M & M release since it is such a pervasive issue.

I'm almost certain it has something to do with the patch though when I tried disabling both the M&M DLC and the content pack the issue was still there. I installed a mod which made Saxons use German portraits and that seems to be a temporary fix.

My and my friend are experiencing the same issue.

You'd probably be better off screenshoting using the function keys than taking a photo of the screen. Should be much easier on you.

Um...I have an even odder issue: namely, every single male character in the game has a tonsure. Even Muslims and Jews! Absolutely every single man in the game has one. (Unless they are wearing a turban, no helmets or other headwear just turbans, such as the Pope, oddly enough.)

Oh and the barber isn't working. I click on the arrows for hair and beard and nothing changes. Also, most male characters seem to be wearing monk robes.

Have just done a fresh install (with all DLC).

(EDIT: Huh...well, that's okay then. So I loaded back up the game, signing in at the launcher with my Paradox account, (I always have to launch the game not signed in the first time because otherwise they game crashes when it asks you your language preference, once that is selected I can log in at the launcher and it will load up.) anyway, now that I'm signed in all the portraits are back to normal. Weird.)

So this is a bug not a feature...

I thought because of Devil Worshiper stuff, the character was looking younger... because of the satanic faith...

but no... just a bug...

:)

EDIT : went back to the Order with a later heir and the woman head of the Devil WS was still looking young @60 yo ??? WAD? :)
