[2.7.1] Game crashing when using fleet

I tried searching, but couldn't find someone with the same problem as me. Whenever I try to use my fleet, more specifically, when I attempt to move my troops onto land again, the game freezes for a second and closes without any notice. I get this error

[persistent.cpp:40]: Error: "Unexpected token: mass_embark, near line: 1" in file: ""

Is there a fix for this?

I have been unable to reproduce this issue.

Do you have any more information about the situation you were in before this happened, or do you have a save file you could attach where the issue occurs?

Also are you running any mods?

I am using the CK2+ mod and nothing else, but was told by the creator that this is a common vanilla problem and that I should take the issue here. After testing a bit more, I believe the problem is related to saving, and that the game very often crashes right after saving, whether automatically or manually.
