This is either a bug-report or a request for confirmation that something is WAD.
As elaborated in my report from two months ago, the child born through Unholy Impregnation does not get any of the events associated with either of the two “demonic child” variants (pagan or non-pagan); it’s given the pagan-variant flag, but the events that monitor that flag all pass through the father (or are triggered by events filtered through the father) and so cannot fire for this child, with the notable exception of the event that removes the flag when the child is 16.
This seems like a bug; the only other event I could find that the child could trigger is getting the Birthright achievement, so nothing in the child’s life ever hints at whether it’s a “real” or “fake” demonic child.
On the other hand, it looks like the use of the pagan flag was intentional, as the Birthright achievement was explicitly written so that the pagan-version is sufficient, and the events associated with the pagan flag were explicitly modified so that they could fire for someone who has MnM but not ToG.
But on the third hand,
1) As mentioned, the demon_child flag is removed when the child (even the one from Unholy Impregnation) turns 16, which leaves very little time to become the Grandmaster of a Society, so it’s unlikely such a child would actually have an opportunity to trigger the Birthright achievement; and
2) Those events, despite being modified to check for the presence of *either* MnM or ToG, are still inaccessible to someone who has only MnM, because, as mentioned, the only way for them to fire is for a child with a father to have the demon_child flag.
