If a commander is leading any flank of a sieging army, I can't directly put him in charge of another flank (in the same army or another army). He just doesn't appear in the list of [commanders + marshal + ruler] for leading the new flank.

However, if I click the sieging army, I can resign him from there and then reassign him. So this "rule" just makes me do extra clicking.

Similarly, my commanders are sometimes assigned to DEFEND in sieges (which afaik has no benefit). I can only assign them to lead flanks if I right-click to "relieve commander" and then "appoint commander" again.

I see the same behaviour, especially the assigning leaders to a besieged city. This has happened a couple of times, and usually, its te Marshal that is co-opted to the be-sieged city's defence.

The ability not to re-assigning siege commanders was, I thought, a logical function, but I didn't realise that I could go to a besieging army and re-assign manually.
