Yo,

Sorry to hear that ; before creating a ticket for that, it would be cool indeed if we could get your save, since such an issue doesn't seem to happen for us.

It'd also be very useful if you could provide us with the specs of your hardware.

Finally, if you suspect a memory issue, try autosaving with the same game with as little other process running as possible. Also, with the same amount of stuff running in the background, just try to create a new game and autosave.

By the way, how much time has run in game ? Does it happen all the time, or only in games in which 10, 50, 100, 150+ years have past already ? Asking because with time passing puts a strain on memory, since there's more old and new stuff to process.

Yo,

Yeah from what you say it doesn't seem to be an issue with a bug or something like that : game crashing during autosave and not creating an autosave file is usually an indication that it failed to process all the stuff it had to and thus died. This happening to a new game too seems like a clear indicator it's not an isolated issue in your game.

It's normal you don't have dumps or exception logs, it's not "implemented" on Mac yet, but we're discussing doing that.

I'll still make a ticket and poke a prog about that, just to double check, but I think it's indeed more of a Tech Support question.

In the meantime, since you're already used to manually saving, I'd suggest turning off the autosaves through the options, although it's very possible your game is not going to get any more stable with time.
