2.6.2 AI doesn't choose education focus

I wanted to marry a genius girl. So I bought her father off with a favour and started educating her myself, in a foreign court. Unfortunately from age 12 to 16 her father didn't choose any education focus. I started teaching her at age 12 before she had any education focus.

It's just one case but there might be more bugs regarding AI characters being taught by player. I wonder if they even choose child focus if the player is a guardian..

It ruined my plan as she received very poor education trait...

I just tried to replicate this with a fresh start and the child I am educating had one applied by the AI. Do you have access to an old save where it isn't being applied?

What was her father's tier and government? I've noticed that baron-tier rulers usually don't choose education focuses for their children.
