For the longest of time, I've been wondering why there are so many adult poets with no traits. Load any save that's been running for centuries, type 'Poet' in the character finder, and you'll see that there are a lot of courtiers who only have the Poet trait and nothing else.
I finally decided to look into that.
Those are from event 3660 (in events\traits_effects_event.txt). The event has a yearly on_action chance of firing for any poet, and each time it is ran, it generates a new poet courtier with no traits.
They have absolutely no marriage prospects, and all they do is take up precious space in courts. Generating extra worthless characters certainly isn't good for the game performance either.
So I suggest that the event should be rewritten. Instead of generating a new poet each time, make it look for an existing one in the same realm. I suppose it should still createa new one if there are none to be found, though.
