Playing as Byzantine. Whenever the Ecumenical Patriarch is on the rebel side, taking the Bishopric of Constantinople shoots my war score to a win. Like I can go from 10% to 100%.

More or less I just raise my troops and sit there while they siege. Squashed revolt after revolt just sitting still - if the Partiarch is on the other side.

I dont normally play Byzantine so not sure if there is some mechanic I dont know about but its super easy to win just by taking that one holding

If the patriarch is the leader of the other side and you jail him, you'll get 100%, that is intended. If you have a specific case where taking the patriarch's bishopric shouldn't give you 100% warscore, please link a save here!

No he hasnt been the Leader. He is just a member of the revolt. Anytime the patriarch is on the rebel side sieging the Bishophiric is the key to winning with little to no effort. Had one a while back that I was dreading because the leader was on Malloca and would require landing troops but took the bishopheric and didnt have to
