2.5.2.2 OTSX - Can't raise levy on gifted county

Description
I've found, what might be a bug, might be intended. I've been given the province of Friesland by my liege. However, I can't raise personal levies there. After some searching I had a hunch that might be because somebody else still had those troops raised. I loaded a savegame, selected to play as my liege and sure enough, he still had the barony levy raised. That barony being Groningen, the capital of Friesland. I disbanded that levy, saved again, loaded and played as myself again and sure enough, I could raise the levy now.

Is this intended behaviour? Or indeed a bug?

While it's not necessarily optimal, I don't think it's too unreasonable either. As the issue fixes itself after your liege dismisses his levies It's arguably WAD. Thanks for the report though.

It could be WAD, but the Liege never dismisses the levy anymore. I ran the situation a good 200 years into the future and it never disbands. So, based on that, I'd still consider it a bug. As you state, it is an 'issue' and not optimal.

Perhaps if it was such that the King would 'lose' the levy at some point, or that it would simply be changed to a vassals levy. Becaues I think he is also paying for the levy.

Is there a war your liege is involved in?

If yes, he will not disband the troops.

If no, he should disband the troops.

If he is not at war and not disbanding levies, it is a bug. It will also mean he can not declare war, which is actually the worst part of him not disbanding levies, making it a bug.

FYI, I did not look at the save game.
