2.5.2.2 Duplicate Titles when settling as a horde

In my Italy game, the Kara Khanids just settled in Khiva. This promptly caused their Khan to gain 912 duplicate titles of Khagan of Khiva. He's gaining about 876 prestige a month. I loaded my auto-save at the start of the year and it's in effect on that as well. Screenshot attached.
