When splitting a besieging army in two using the associated button, one guy remained as siege leader and at the same time appeared as center leader of the other part of the army. There where only two units and leaders in the army originally. Both leaders remained in the split off army although there was only one unit remaining at the time. All DLCs active, no mods.
