[2.5.1] Game ends when heiress elopes

Playing as the Duke of Nicea, 867 start. Both the Empire and Nicea are under Elective Monarchy in 888. My heir is my second daughter.

I arrange her marriage and she protests (looks like a new event) with a 33% chance of getting 'celibate.' She doesn't get it and marries the guy. A few months later, I get an event popup that she has eloped with someone else and set herself up as the head of a mercenary band.

Pretty crazy, but OK, she is a brilliant strategist and pissed off at me, so an interesting turn. I have a big family and plenty of other candidates to succeed me - but after the elopement event, the game ends. No explanation as to why.

That's incredibly strange. The event you experienced is a very rare new Conclave event, but it's in no way meant to end your game. The best thing you could do here is to provide us with a save game where the behaviour can be replicated easily, or comprehensive repro steps so that we can reproduce it locally. Thank you!

I have a save beforehand but I don't know about replicating the behavior easily unless there's an event # I can use to trigger it somehow, in which case i'll test it and send you the save.

If it helps, I had this occur with ab-cog ultimogeniture. My eldest daughter (NOT my heir) got the event and I got game over. I haven't been able to reproduce since then unfortunately.
