[2.5.1] Brother instead of son inherits in Primogeniture

First off: If this is WAI, then I do like this, but it seems like a strange bug:

I am currently playing Laurentios of Hohenzollern, Duke of Bavaria.
My current heir-apparent is my half-brother Friedrich of Hohenzollern, Count of Innsbruck.
I do have a son (Theocharistos Laurentiosson) and the inheritance of Bavaria is Agnatic-Cognatic Primogeniture.
My son is the heir-apparent to the Duchy of Ostlandet.
Controlled Realm Inheritance is illegal.
I do not know the CRI of Norge (Ostlandet).
My son was born before I became Duke of Bavaria, but when I was already married to the Duchess of Ostlandet.

edit: My character is a legitimized Bastard...maybe this has anything to do with it?

Apparently a character can only be the heir of ONE character now. A character cannot be set to inherit from more than one person.

Thus if your son is going to inherit from his mother, he CANNOT inherit from you.

That's not true. I did inherit from both of my parents before in this game, I'm pretty sure about that.

Not from looking at your screenshot. Your father was a duke, and your mother held no titles.

As you said, your son is set to inherit Duchy of Ostlandet. Thus, your son cannot ALSO be set to inherit the Duchy of Bavaria from you.

And as I said, I think this is a bug. I had characters before and if I remember correctly, they did inherit from both parents.

Oh, gotcha. Sorry, by "in this game" I thought you meant "in this particular game" and not "in the game of CK2."

I believe that that's not what @Servancour meant - I believe he meant it only as an observation. From what I can tell from the report in our internal DB, it's very much considered a bug.

Wickermoon - It'd be great to have your save game as well, so we can compare the two situations in a debug version.

As I mentioned in another thread already: I was a bit unclear in my original post. As ForzaA mentioned, it was more of an observation to illustrate where the issue might be at. And I have indeed already filed a report in our internal database.
