[2.5.1] Allies in a holy war sending armies to war they don't fight in

Situation: I was attacked by an Apulian count, was looking for allies. Allied the duchess of Transylvania, who was attacking the Pechenegs. During the war, a Muslim Emir declares a Holy War for Sardinia - most of Italy and Croatia offers support, I accept. The Apulian war is invalidated.
Now instead of embarking troops and sending them to Sardinia or Africa, the Italians and Croatians all march to Wallachia, where they try to help out the duchess of Transylvania - without being part of her war. So all they do is slowly attritioning away while Sardinia is under siege by angry Muslims.

This seems like a strange edge case, do you have a save where it can be observed? Does it persist after saving/reloading the game?

Reloading from the lobby didn't help, but after a fresh restart, the problem doesn't persist. Only for Ravenna, but I believe they simply haven't enough ships.
Luckily solved itself then; here is the (ironman) save if it helps.
