[2.5.1.4] Unplayable slow at later start dates.

Start the game on the year 1337 bookmark. Let the game run for a month or so and it starts to chug and is generally unplayable. Feels like it runs at 5 fps

Thank you. I just went back to 2.1.4, and it runs fine on that bookmark so I guess its some change in the betas.
