In the event where someone tries to convert one of your subjects to a different religion the option to "Engage him in theological debate" should be "Engage them in theological debate", because you can engage women in theological debate as well as men.

I forgot to grab a screenshot of the event firing for a woman, but here's one of it firing for a man:

It's not an error, as the localization will dynamically choose the correct object pronoun for the character engaged:

Engage [From.GetObjectPronoun] in theological debate

[From.GetHerHim] could also have been used with the same result. Either avoids the somewhat controversial use of "them" as a gender-neutral singular.

Did you actually test it? I only noticed it because I'm playing as a Miaphysite in Abyssinia, so I've had to import a number of Orthodox brides for my dynasty and every single time the event fires for one of them it refers to her as a "him".

It's either not working properly or my wife is secretly a man.

If it isn't working properly it's a problem with the GetObjectPronoun function. I know that GetHerHim works properly. I'm not in a position to test it at the moment.

The call is fine, the problem is that it is pulling from from instead of fromfrom - or something like that.

That appears to be it. It's using the pronoun of the character making the complaint (the one whose portrait is in the top left of the dialogue box) instead of the character being complained about (whose portrait is in the bottom right).

Then the root problem is using the wrong string, EVTOPTC_SOA_4021, for option C of event 4032. From.GetObjectPronoun is appropriate for event 4021 and 4031, but not 4032.
