Situation:
I own the duchy of Arabia and am the Caliph of all Sunnis. I decide to become independant, so I declare war on my liege. Interestingly enough I can do it by declaring a subjugation war. Sure, if independant, why not with all of Mesopotamia.
Result:
Captured the Seljuk ruler in battle, enforce demands and bam... I got 27 demesne, but all my duchies get destroyed, all entitled vassals are free, the Caliphate is gone and I am the most powerful "count" in all of Arabia. Yet I am immediately vassalized by the Seljuks again, subdued by a random Emir and can't declare a war or faction afterwards forever. 100% a bug.
IF this war causes this bug - maybe because it is not meant to be used on your liege - then at least lock it for that. If you offer it I wanted to use it to speed up the achievement. A lot good that did, killing the savegame. Allah be merciful, the Caliphs first die by heart attack, leper and now the whole Caliphate vaporates for no reason.
