I revoked the kingdom of Avaria title, and upon death my clan was given to my heir, and the kingdom was given to a second son and he became head of a his own clan, however he died without any other heir, and as his brother with high prestige I inherited the clan. Now I am head of two clans within the same Kaganate.

I have something similar in that one Khan holds 2 clan titles. At some point his ancestor pressed a claim on the second clan, and since then there are 2 Ganbold clans (although his second clan is Chupanid Clan)
