Aside from the apparent mass disease spreading going on, it should not be possible to reattain diseases that humans become immune to once they recover from them. Typhoid fever being one in particular that my current heir has recovered from 4 times.
Don't worry the latest beta(next patch) seems to revert them back to the irrelevance they were before, that's my experience so far with my new campaign. 40 years with only one consumption outbreak in my realm, which none of my large family caught and only managed to kill a old courtier and a 54 year old maimed count, was pathetically disappointing. I liked that they had become a threat at last and would have preferred adding the immunity and escaping into the countryside/go into hiding ideas that have been proposed on the forums instead of this nerf.
Or make deadlier/regular diseases a option that players can choose to satisfy both sides.
