Tributary displays the overlord's state name on the map, after their capital was captured by a third party.
======
I was playing as Jerusalem and made Rum (an Islamic state to the north of Jerusalem and to the east of Byzantine as in 1216) my tributary.
Later the crusaders took Rum's capital and they made a peace treaty.
To my surprise, after that I saw two "Jerusalem" on the map. But then I figured out that it was neither the second Jerusalem nor it became a part of my realm. It was displaying the wrong name on the map.
As you can see in the screenshot, on the left panel which shows the details of the realm, Rum is still Rum with its own ruler. However, it displays "Jerusalem" on their territory and you cannot find the sign of their capital.
======
I guess it's because the realm of the overlord's and the tributaries' are somehow confused in this case. Thus as the "same" realm, only the overlord's capital is considered as a capital and displayed on the map. But actually they are still two different realms.
