I've been told here that this is a bug.

2.3.6

2.4.2

Notice how the dynasty CoA and the Barony CoA are different. This affects the entire game. And it's annoying because I'm used to the old ones. I've read that uninstalling the game and removing the folder inside Documents could fix this, but it didn't work. I'm playing on OS X in case that matters. If I choose 2.3.6 version on Steam everything works correctly so I'm assuming it's a bug of the current version.

Edit: Actually, that Barony is a different one because the capital is wrong in 2.4.2. Still, the capital is fixed in 2.4.3 but the CoA is still different (it's yellow)

The dynastic arms are random. When new patch comes it usually does scramble them and cause them to change. Its not a bug but how the system works. They don't intentionally change them but when the game files are changed the random seed will be different causing different types of coat of arms. If you want set coat of arms for some dynasties get the coat of arms packs they have one for Jimena in there and that will never get changed.
