Going to assume this is a bug; after all "Resign" is clearly a different option to "Quit". This has happened every time I've hit the resign option (which I more frequently use), figured I should report it as I couldn't see any mention of it.
EDIT: I should clarify - there's no crash as there's no crash message, so the game is (almost) definitely closing rather than breaking. The close comes upon hitting "Quit to menu" in the score screen that comes up after resigning.
EDIT 2: after trying to test a different bug that I've been experiencing, the game resigned properly when resigning from a non-ironman save; so seemingly it only effects ironman? Not sure.
