I keep getting these events. My current ruler's wife has been his only lover and she became his lover after succession. Despite this, I keep receiving events that suggest that he is having an adulterous affair. I have repeatedly checked the relations tab and his wife is his only lover. This is extremely frustrating and needs to be fixed!

I've reported some issues before with lover events that are still in the pipeline, but added this to the list. Sorry to hear that it's getting to the point where you don't feel like playing. It should probably be adressed asap, but it would really help if you pointed towards event ID's in these cases. With such a tight time budget, we can't really go through all events for potentially missed triggers. But thanks for the patience.

I've actually been looking for a way to identify an event when it occurs using the console, but I haven't found a method that works. If you can let us know how to do this, I'd be happy to give you that information.

Oh! Absolutely. Glad to help if anyone else wants to know. Unfortunately you only see the event ID when using a development version (which is impractical at the very least (I'll see if we can change that for a coming build)), but the easiest way of identifying an event is usually to just search for an identifiable piece of text from the event text in the \Steam\steamapps\common\Crusader Kings II\localisation folder (you can reach it easily by right clicking CK in steam, picking properties and then opening the folder under the "local files" tab). If you're using notepad++ you can just search through the entire folder for the specific piece of text for instance. Can't remember how it is in normal notepad. But after you've found a match you can just see the event ID as part of the tooltip (e.g.EVTDESC_CM_6330). Hope that helps :)
Oh, and be careful as to not include gods, faith, pronouns and the like in your search because they are usually written as references in the localisation.
