[2.3][BTOF] CM Start Italian and Lombard Culture won't flip to Greek

I started as an Lombard Duke,
created Costum Kingdom of Latium,
became Vassal of the Byzantines,
took Greek Culture,
took complete Italy by Invasion,
changed Religion to Iconoclast, later Orthodox,
became Byzantine Emporer,
took most of my old imperial borders and it is nearly the year 1000.

Still every single Italian or Lombard cultured provinces stays this way. All of my later conquest are changed to greek culture by about 50% of the provinces.
All the counts/dukes the Italian King are Greek/Orthodox. Rome is in my personal demnse. Savegames is Ironman Mode, so I don't know if this is uploadable.
In the earlier times a few provinces flipped from Lombard to Italian, so this Event should work.

Owning and activated every dlc beside the most recent WoL (Have no money atm :( ), no Checksum changing mods, just "Deutschkorrektur" for better localisation.

Since Groogy responded in the latest patchnotes to someone else:
Is there a bug report of it that QA has responded to? No? Then probably not, its not on my list of stuff that I need to fix.
I wanna bump this thread, maybe it got overseen by the QA team, since I can't find anything about it in the patchlogs

I don't see any intrinsic reason why that would happen. Keep in mind, though, that culture typically has to spread - since the Italian provinces aren't bordering any Greek provinces, that can't happen. Thus, they can only be flipped greek through event 55001, "bring in some settlers" to the capital, which has its own peculiar requirements with conquest_culture...claim wars, invasions, crusades and decadence invasions all set conquest_culture for a title to the culture of the person gaining it, allowing capitals to be flipped to that culture by event. But titles gained though other kinds of wars (or from succession, I suppose) don't, and so culture has to spread the normal way.

I'm guessing that's the problem in your case?

Is still an issue for you in your game?
And the holder of the provinces are Greek as well?

Looking at the conversion events, I can't see any reason for why they shouldn't fire if you fulfill all the conditions. I think it would be best if I could look at your save game, check the current setup and see if there is anything there that could cause the issue. If the game is an ironman save located on the Steam cloud you should be able to find your save game at the following location, or a similar one depending on where you have Steam installed etc:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<YOUR STEAM ID>\203770\remote\save games
