[2.3] Character Succession Bug

I was playing as Loup de Gascogne with gavelkind and multiple heirs but, on my death I was sent to the Game Over screen. The game would also decide on events without my input (naming children, focus event stats appearing without the event popup).

Do you by any chance have a save game available that you can upload for us to take a look at?

Edit: After taking a look in our database, it would seem that this is an issue that has been reported before, but the scripters haven't gotten to fix it yet.
So there is no need for you to upload a save game as I previously requested.

Yes, please fix this. My last ironman game was just ruined because my eldest (strong genius) son became heir to a random merchant republic city after I created it. Totally different family. No reason why anyone should be heir to the city since the patricians didn't have kids yet.
