[2.3][BTOF] Mediterranean Portraits DLC - Graphic glitch [SOLVED]

Description: Since the 2.3 patch the portraits of characters with greek culture are not showned proberly (see appendix).

DLC: All major/minor DLC's except Charlemagne
Mods: none

Reproduction Steps: I re-installed CKII - also deleted the folder with the setting/mod files (...\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II) - after every change and verified the game cache. As you can see in the last screenshots the portraits are working fine in 2.2.1.

Solution: I didn't know in the first place that if you choose "Delete Local Content" via Steam to re-install the game, some files in your Crusader Kings II folder (...\Steam\SteamApps\common\Crusader Kings II) will be left over. Make sure to delete them too.

There are no issues with them on our end. I'm guessing Steam is having trouble to update your DLC files correctly. Go to your folder where you have Crusader Kings II installed, usually something like "C:\Program\Steam\steamapps\common\Crusader Kings II". Once there, delete the contents of you DLC folder. Then have Steam verify your files. Steam should then download the correct versions of the DLCs. Let me know how it works out.

Sadly it didn't change anything. As I stated in my post, I already did this procedure after every change. If no DLC's are installed this issue does still exist as you can see in the first screenshot.

I can confirm that I am getting this error as well. Been searching for a thread like this for a while, thought it was just me. Thx op.

Edit: It's not the same but similar. My coat of arms will not display for me on 2.3 as seen in the 5th screenshot as if running on 2.2.1, but I am running 2.3 and I have mercilessly tried reinstalling and verifying catch to fix it.

Update: I just fixed my issue. Despite uninstalling, reinstalling both the entire game and individual parts over and over again with no luck this time I tried something different. I rolled back my game to 2.2.1 then rolled it back up to 2.3 and just like magic. Fixed. I have no idea why though.

Try doing that DLC delete again, but also manually delete documents/paradox/ck2/gfx/ folder as well. Then verify and run the game again.
