As the title says. Other honorary titles seem to work fine. Checked with a number of family members, the option isn't there.
Ironman game as a tribe-turned-republic (Norse, started as Svithjod (sp?) and I'm currently the Empire of Scandinavia). I had given the "designated heir" title to the character I wanted to be my heir then revoked it a little later, but I was still able to use the title immediately after. I'm not quite sure when it disappeared after that unfortunately. It was several game-years later that I tried giving a character the title again.
I can't really think of anything else I did that might be relevant...
DLC Info: All major DLC active except for Sunset Invasion (which I do own) and Charlemagne (which I don't own). I have all the portrait/unit/music packs EXCEPT for Songs of Yuletide, the Persian portrait/unit packs, the Early Eastern and Western Clothing packs, Charlemagne dynasty shields, and the Iberian portrait/unit packs.
No mods active.
When I launch the game I have RYEW as Checksum but if I go into the ironman game, resign and go back to the main menu it changes to QYEW. Not sure what that's about, but that's why I have two listed.
Hopefully this'll allow someone to get the save file, I can't seem to upload it to the forum:
