Playing through the game, I get an event pop-up that my Spymaster uncovered a plot where someone is threatening to kill my son, Komitas. The main issue here is that Komitas has been dead since 1198 (Current year in-game is 1218). Unless Komitas has been resurrected via necromancy or monkey paw, or my Spymaster dug up this plot in a back-alley garbage can 20 years too late, then I'm going to assume that this is a bug. It also leads me to wonder if the AI has been plotting to kill dead characters this whole time since the patch and I haven't noticed it since it's so rare I discover a plot against me or my immediate family (And usually when I'm told X character is plotting to kill Y character, I just click OK and let my auto-stop plots do its thing, so I'll be sure to check every plot to see if this has been happening).

Has anyone else experienced this?

I didn't take any screenshots of the popup that informed me (I didn't realise the son they were plotting to kill was already dead until I looked in my family tab to see he had died of Pneumonia 20 years before) but I will if it comes up again.

It is a pretty old bug, I think, I got it a few times in the past once in a similar situation your talking about, another was my son who died 30 years earlier had the demon spawn event chain start with him. Most likely a MTTH problem seeing the delay.

Hi GeheimnisMann!

Without any proper steps to reproduce, it is very hard for us to pinpoint it out to our devs and show them where and how it occurs.
However, if you manage to find a solid way to recreate this issue, please repost it here so we can fix it.

Cheers!

Well... is there a check for the AI to invalidate and end plots on people who are dead? If you can't reproduce it, you might still be able to minimize the effect of the bug.
