When a child prisoner from another court is being mentored by you or someone in your court they may randomly switch to another prison with another mentor in another realm.

Most recently I was educating a genius sayyid I had imprisoned from raiding Santiago when he randomly switched to being educated and imprisoned in the court of another ruler in the Umayyad sultanate (without any warning of this).

I'm guessing either you shouldn't be able to educate them or this shouldn't be happening.

I wasn't able to get people to teleport when trying with four children now, but I only tried imprisonments though console so far so I'll keep an eye out :) I did however notice that guardians stayed..

This happened to me recently (under the previous patch) when I imprisoned my demon-spawn child. I was ruler of Italy (or working toward it from the Matilda di Canossa start) and the child ended up in the HRE's prison although I was still his guardian. This status was only shown in the child's character panel, not mine, but I could not add another ward in addition to the one that was showing on my character panel. The Emperor kept asking for ransom so I finally took him back.

Note that I was a vassal of the HRE at the time—the child went to my liege's prison rather than mine.
