In a game as a (reformed) Germanic pagan ruler, I held a blot as I have done many times before (every 9 years). I have seen many random events after the sacrifice, often involving guests having public carnal affairs in the gathering hall. This time I had a new event: I stepped outside and saw two of my vassals, both identified on their character page as homosexual men, kissing outside the hall. The event button had a single result noted in its popup, that one of the vassals so caught would lose opinion from me for some time (I think 2 years). A second result was not shown: a "lover" relationship was created, not between the two men, but between one of them and myself, their leige. My character did NOT have the homosexual trait, I believe the event creates a relationship to the wrong target.
As a result of accidentally spotting the two vassals, I was quickly "outed" at court (even though I broke off the relationship as soon as I realized it was there) and received the "effeminate man-lover" trait (-30 opinion from EVERYONE) even though, as I said, this character was not gay. This is a major problem for most rulers, especially considering there was no relationship, not even a vicious rumor of one, but pretty clearly a buggy post-sacrifice blot event.
DLC: I have all the DLC packages.
Mods: I do not play with any mods.
I cannot recreate the error because it is the result of a random event, and also because I suspect it is dependent upon two homosexual vassals appearing at the same blot, not a situation that arises every time. In 9 years the elder of the two vassals will probably be dead.
