I am playing as a Byzantine count and leader of a faction to install my brother as Strategos. I used the Intrigue focus to kidnap my liege, then, with him as my prisoner, used the decision to present my demand to install claimant. The liege declines, of course, but the war cannot start and nothing happens, since a condition for declaring war is that my liege must not be my prisoner. After this happens, the button to leave the faction is greyed out, since you are not allowed to leave a faction after demands have been presented.

The easy fix here is to disable the decision to present demands while your liege is your prisoner. I was also hoping that kidnapping my liege would give me some leverage in negotiating my demands, but alas.

Hi camhux!

I tried to recreate this issue in our internal version, however the events occured as planned and the war started.
So this issue might be fixed in the upcoming patches (can't say when though)
However, feel free to keep an eye on it if you manage to recreate this in the future patches.

Thanks for reporting this issue!
