Hello. I am still experiencing a CTD when using the religion tab. I have re-installed the game and started a new game. As a Germanic pagan it always crashes. I am using all DLC except for S.I. Thanks for your help.

Please note its particularly useful to have a savegame for crash bugs (you need to load these up to third-party providers first)
What you have isn't common - who are you playing? also are you using mods?

Thanks for your interest and attention. [2.3.4] RROH. Just rolled a random generated germanic pagan. CTD upon hitting the religion tab. Early Middle Ages start, all DLC except for S.I., no mods, 1400+ hours.
You should verify your game files on steam. That doesn't look like the correct checksum.
After verifying the integrity of the game cache, it reads RYEW on the launcher, but RROH on the title screen. Not sure why there is a discrepancy, but that's probably it. Awesome catch, thanks! So what now? Already did a wipe and re-install...
did you do all of these steps?
- move any valued save games elsewhere
- "delete local content" in Steam-CK2
- manually delete all files and folders left under Steam/SteamApps/common/CK2 AND Documents/Paradox/CK2
- re-install game in Steam, run a Steam Verify when done.
- start the game with no mods active and test
particularly the manually delete part - documents/paradox/ck2 may be elsewhere, but its where your save games and some other info is stored.
