I'm playing as Venetian Doge running from the Charlemagne start, and it seems as though certain focus events aren't clearing up properly. For example, the Trade Route and Tower events fired for successive doges running the appropriate focus, but tneither event has fired for any of my subsequent rulers. Only the first doge to focus on theology got to go on a piglrimage, subsequent theologically focused doges don't have the option on the intrigues screen.
It looks to me as though for some reason these events remain flagged as 'completed by current character' even after the person who completed them has died and passed on their titles to their successor. Has anyone else encountered this?
