Description: The majority of the world becomes hostile because peasant rebels attack neutral neighbouring rebellion - still trying to replicate in a second to confirm this was the cause.

DLC: All
Mods: No

Replication: Having issue creating replication, since there seems to be something strange also happening with observe mode (Going from observe mode to a vassal character seems to cause global hostility also or perhaps it is something else will try to see what the go is later).

My particular case was when a peasant uprising started in Narva. I am slowly assembling my forces and I watched as the rebels moved to intercept a small squad of rebels moving through my realm. Directly after they were defeated, I noticed that everyone was hostile.

I kept thinking if I seen the bug I would backup the savegame so I could test duplicate the circumstances, but because I thought I seen the cause I didn't think to do it. Sorry will try and recreate the circumstances. :)

Thanks for the info Dracko. If I manage to get this to happen for me, I'll be sure to keep an eye on any rebels that might be present.

Be sure to update me on any progress. Cheers ;)

I'd also like to add to this thread that this hostile bug seems to extend to realms that have been raided. As you can see in the SS below.

huh.png

The Pope was just raided by a pagan lord and he is now hostile to me as well as being hostile to the raiders. This can be replicated easily, just play as a character in the British Isles since they get raided a lot. You will see that your neighbours will become hostile to you after they've been raided.

I'm not sure what exactly caused it, but I am having this issue as well. Most of the known world is hostile to me. It happened after I declared war, realized the enemy's ally had a crapton of event troops (Pagan count, over 7k troops) and reloaded from the autosave. That was when I noticed it. Subsequent reloads did not fix the problem.

So you still had the same issue, even after restarting the game? Not just resigning back to the main menu?

If so, it would be great if you could share that save file so I can take a closer look. :)

Shoot. I didn't think to make a copy of the save file and, like I said, it was the autosave. Lemme see if the problem persists to a later save after restarting the game.

Edit: Dangit. Sorry. I didn't make a backup and the bug is no longer occuring on the latest save. Recreating it also failed. Sorry I can't be of more help. : (

Edit 2: On another note, I just had a courtier call an adventure to press the same claim as his adventurer father already is.
