Steps to reproduce start the game and choose Late Middle Ages. Take a look at India, notice how the Bey of Debul is shown to be independent. Thisis wrong, when you start the game he is a vassal of Tughluqs.

Back to menu check the ruler of Kondana (Western part of de-jure Maharastra, one province away from the coast), he will be shown amongs the Kings, if you choose the nilter, and he has a golden circle, but he's also a vassal of a king. If you start the game he actually turns out to be a Raja.

Start the game, take a look at the ruler of the Golden Horde. He is the tanist of Yaik, but Yaik is agnatic open, so there shouldn't be a tanist there.

On a similar note, there are some display errors in the HRE setup in the 1066 starts, as a few dukes list other dukes as vassals, and a count has the ducal "portrait ring":
