As Germanic Fylkir who is head of the Principality of Scandinavia (Empire-level Merchant Republic) I led a Great Holy War against Romuvan Lithuania. After war is declared, the King of Lithuania converts to Catholic and calls in large western powers like the King of France. That, I understand and was able to deal with.
But when I won, one of his random courtiers who was Germanic received most of the county-level titles in Lithuania. She is now a vassal of his, and he got to keep the Kingdom title and all of his own lands.
I received no titles after winning the Great Holy War, nor did any of my vassals.
I cannot tell if the issue is because I am a Merchant Republic, because the war took place over two rulers on my side, or because he switched religions during the war, or a combination.
It's an Ironman game, unable to upload. I will try to upload screenshots, but they don't really show much.
