[2.3.2] Ck2 does not launch at all though steam ONLY

Yeah, Friends having a big problem with steam and this game. He can launch perfectly fine from his game folder withought steam but with steam it does not even launch the game, steam thinks he is playing for a few second but then it just goes away.

We have tried every little fix but nothing is working.

He has played the game in the past but now its not working and JUST through steam.

This has also happened to me after a patch. Try closing Steam all the way. As in shut it down totally. Don't just stick it in the task bar. Re-open it and it should work fine.

This does nothing. Even removing the steam beta and enableing it does nothing... horrible how it just doesnt work for steam so he cant play MP with me...

EDIT: We have fixed the problem, it involved having old remnants of ck2 on multiple hardrives and steam doing some odd things with the files and whear it was reading from. Uninstalling and removeing it from all harddrives seemed to have fixed the crash problem with steam
