[2.2.4] Zooming in negatively affects performance

The difference between these two pictures is one level of zoom - one is the most zoomed out that still shows names, the other is the most zoomed in that doesn't show names.
I think it's worth noting that zooming in also impacts performance even while the game is paused.

mmm mapicons, löve that shit... yeah that one is under investigation. 2d rendering system is nor good atm, if you find any gui that sinks your fps by alot (~5), let us know as well
