It's 1367 AD and I'm playing the Emperor of Francia, 56 years old, Catholic, with a slightly younger wife who is German, Cathar, and my rival, but nevertheless has +50 opinion of me. So I tell her to convert to Catholicism, which she does, and I get the "Praise the Lord!" window.
As soon as I move the mouse to the button "I need to re-evaluate our relations", without clicking it, the game crashes. I restart from a recent save and try again, and the same happens. I restart again, allow the game to advance into 1368 AD, and try again: the same happens again.
It seems that I'll have to go on living with a Cathar wife because the game won't tolerate me trying to convert her. But it could say so more politely.
I have the Legacy of Rome and Charlemagne DLCs, and various cosmetic ones.
I'm using Windows 7 Professional, i7 processor, 8 GB RAM. This game didn't crash at all until I started buying DLCs, but now I come to expect crashes every now and then. Progress?
