Am I the only one that cannot even play this game anymore due to a ridiculous amount of CTDs? I've never had this issue with CK2 until this patch.
I had some crashes, but they've never crossed the line between annoying and unplayable.Am I the only one that cannot even play this game anymore due to a ridiculous amount of CTDs? I've never had this issue with CK2 until this patch.

It almost always happens when I'm at war and there is a lot of unit movement around my empire. I've already re-installed the game via Steam and updated my video drivers. Of course, this problem is happening on two different computers that I have... my laptop and my desktop.

CTDs coming my way as well, even after the formal patch.
I'm unhappy to report some random CTD's also. Nothing specific appears to be triggering them. Playing in Ironman though. Could it have to do with save file corruption since the game is being saved so often due to ironman mode?
I think maybe you guys should start advertising that the game requires 3 GB of RAM. That would explain everything I'm experiencing, and the majority of the others in this subforum with CTDs, too.
Believe me I've tried - think we should mandate 64bit Windows and 4gb of memory in fact - but there are issues with retrospectively changing publish minimum requirements it seems.
Also, my desktop has an 8 core AMD running overclocked to 5 Ghz, watercooled that I bought last week. I assure you, it's not my rig. I have plenty of performance intensive games that run just fine. Actually I can't even play on speed 5 anymore on my desktop because it's like warp speed... First time I've ever had that problem!
Well upload a savegame in the bug reports. I'd happily look at it myself, but I don't have all the tools the devs do.
