As the title says, I can create and destroy the Kingdom of Jerusalem on each character and each will get the huge prestige and piety bonus. I don't thin that's desired, really. It's like 5000 free prestige and 2000 piety. With this, I was able to create the Roman Empire (requires 3000 prestige) as a 16 year old, on the throne for 4 years.

Doh, the exploit was fixed some time ago so when playing a character you would only get the bonus once.. the scripters must have forgotten to fix it on character change. Will add it to the database and report it to the scripters.

Update: Witchking should have fixed it now. Instead of making it flag per character, it sets a global flag when Jerusalem is created the first time.

How about a minor boost for anybody who regains or recreates it after it falls to in invasion or jihad?

Well.. you do receive 400 prestige for re-creating it if it has been destroyed once, which is fine by my standards (costing 200g & 200 piety)

Yeah, but that's the same as for any other kingdom, while k_Jerusalem should be somewhat special. Same rationale as for awarding the huge bonus on its first formation as opposed to the standard 400 prestige for a normal kingdom.

But I mean this only in connection with something like k_Jerusalem falling, title being destroyed, and then someone winning the crusade and recreating it. Or forming it after holy-warring or claim-warring the territory back from Fatties/Ayyubids/Seljuks/Ilkhanate/Timurids/stray GH.

You know, something like forming k_Jerusalem after a crusade in the 1337 start, where it had existed in the past, in history files (de facto 1099-1291, later claimed by the de Lusignans from k_Cyprus), before you started the game. You still aren't Godfrey, but it counts for more than Taurica or even Egypt, Andalusia etc.

When talking to the dev team we all were pretty much in agreement that a re-creation of Jerusalem (if it somehow got destroyed) isn't quite as impressive as doing it the first time. It might warrent a small buff in the reward for re-creating it, but it isn't currently very high in priority to fix. I'll have another talk with Witchking tomorrow and see if our standpoint changes or not.

Thanks. If starting after the fall of k_Jerusalem (1291 AD), I guess you could include a unique nickname like Jorge 'The New Godfrey' Salian or whatever dude's called. ;) But this is probably of marginal importance because the Cypriot kings probably have the claim, preventing you from getting the land in a crusade anyway.
