2.2.1.1 Problem selecting a spouse

I just fired up a brand new game under the beta patch as Lombardy. Trying to marry off one of the daughters, click on the wedding rings, and when I click on someone to marry her to it brings up that characters screen instead of going to the proposal screen.

I have to go to the Arrange Marriage option to manually select the marriage proposal. When the proposal is accepted, the respondent's portrait is blank too.

Yes, I've found that too. It can be done, but with this patch it's suddenly become awkward and inconvenient when it wasn't before. Why change?

Started a new game as a non-Doge in Venice. I cannot get married at all now because of the this issue. I'm not a valid selection in my own court to propose marriage.

I know it seems strange(not used to it), but when you click the rings to get the list of ladies, you right click the potential spouse and a new diplomacy window will open with the marriage ready to go.

I tried that and I do not get any option to marry. But if I go to diplomacy and go to the marriage option, then I can marry if I can remember who to marry.

When right clicking and selecting the "Arrange Marriage" - it shows characters that are in YOUR court - while if you go through the "Arrange Marriage" button, it will show you all the potential characters (which is the case when you are trying to marry off your daughters).

Understandable that things might be somewhat confusing when large changes to the interface is made though.
