[2.2.1.1] Factions disabled after CA increased

When the CA increases to Medium and there is a faction initiated to install yourself as the new lord of the realm (whose ruler you are a vassal of) also headed by you, the faction is cancelled out and no faction can be started any longer. The plotting button also gets greyed out.

Hmm.. worked fine for me when reproducing the steps you mentioned above. Do you have a save game just before CA is increased to Medium?

No I do not. All three autosaves come after the factions had been disabled.
