[2.2.1.1 beta] Improve relationships mission affects wrong character

I've just seen my Chancellor sent to improve relationships with one vassal affect an entirely different character. See the screenshot: the one 'made to understand', as the popup rightly says, is the Chief of Vologda, while the Chancellor, as you can see, is stationed in Chortitza.

That does indeed look extremely wrong, do you by any chance have a save of your game that you could provide. Have been unable to reproduce it with any of mine here at the office.
