[2.2.0.8] Still not able to hand out Vice Royalties

I'm using the latest beta patch, and it seems the bug of not being able to hand out Vice Royalties still is not completely fixed.

In my savegame, I am the Emperor of Britannia, hold all kingdom titles and the Kingdom of Italy. I was able to handout the Kingdom of Italy as you can see from the history tab of that title. But since the Vice Roy died, I was not able to hand out any other Vice Royalty. Things I have tried, but did not work:

- Saving and reloading the game to and from a different file
- Complete reinstall of CK2
- Contacting the Paradox support via Zendesk. I was referred to this forum.
- Applied Summer's Amateur Bugfixing mod here.

Try a new game. You may be suffering the result of a bug that the patch is not able to fix unless you start fresh.

I'm guessing you are using an older save? From when the bug was still there. What you can do, is to disable Viceroyalties and then re-enable to law. That should make it work with saving and loading your save game as well, so you don't have to start a new game.
