Game was started on 2.2.0.2
Works fine before 2.2.0.7
on 2.2.0.7 CTD per 15-20 years
on 2.2.0.8 CTD within first months on both saves (

Which mods are you using?
Which DLC do you have?


Try a new game to see if you still have CTD.

And dont forget the clean reinstall rule:

1) Backup savegame
2) Delete local files (Steam)
3) Delete manually the documents folder
4) Restart steam
5) Opt into beta again (Steam)
6) Install game (Steam)
7) Verify cache (Steam)

Was able to get a CTD with the first save provided. I've notified the programmers about this and they will be taking a look at it as well.

Naturally, as there are no CTD fixes listed in 2.2.0.9:

- Changed the Shia and Sunni Caliphates creation triggers to require being independent or all lieges being the correct religion
- Fixed bug where vassals in a revolt did not properly return to their former lieges after the revolt.
- Religious head titles will no longer be created by the AI if the character cannot afford the cost.

I don't think the programmers have gotten to check out your CTD yet as they've been focusing on fixing stuff for yesterdays patch, but it's in the database and they will take a look at it when they can. Sorry to say I can't give you any ETA on what causes the issue, or when it will be fixed

Well, I could try new game until (I hope) you can fix this.
