My current game crashes very frequently. It's almost impossible to play an entire in-game year without a crash. I cannot identify any specific cause for the crashes; they happen at completely random times as far as I can discern.

Downgrade to 2.2 release version does not help; still crashes frequently. Operating system is OS X 10.10.

Same here. I'm also running this on a Mac with OSX 10.10, Beta Version 2.2.0.6, running all major dlcs, except for Charlemagne. The Game crashes without generation any feedback within the OS.

The crashing has gotten worse as the game progressed. Instead of just crashing every 5-15 minutes, I have now reached a point where the game crashes reproducibly every time on January sixth. I have updated the linked file with the new save.

This is with 2.2.0.8 on OS X 10.10.

FYI, the game's own error.log and game.log files are useless in the case of crashes; the game can't write crash data to a log because its crashed!

In the case of Macs, OS X puts up an OS crash log in the screen most of the time; that is far more useful. I'd be interested to see if your crashes match this one

For this crash the crash reporter doesn't show up, for whatever reason. I would have posted its output if it did.

So it seems to be a video issue. Please check yours out for me and see if it's similar.
That's a negative. I have run 2.2.0.9 with a debugger attached, and it looks like a null pointer dereference in CCharacter::RemoveConsort.

Am still crashing clicking on empty tribal holdings once they are conquered by me in 2.2.1. This has been here since CM released and essentially makes the game unplayable eventually from the earlier date due to the volume of tribal holdings you may conquer regardless of who you start as. Can't even progress beyond a few years due to this. No amount of reinstalling, wiping etc helps.

Weirdly, I'm not getting the Apple crash reporter popping up for CK2, just an instant CTD. Crash reporter is working for other apps.
